This tour explores the best the Malawi has to offer from the very south to the north of the country. Highlights include Mulanje Mountain, Liwonde National Park and Lake Malawi. Guests will enjoy a wide variety of scenery,
views, wildlife and cultural experiences.

Day 1 Arrive into Lilongwe International airport where clients will be met and assisted to the transfer vehicle. Road transfer from Lilongwe airport to Kumbali Country Lodge on the outskirts of Lilongwe (30mins).
Accommodation at Kumbali Country Lodge in an executive room on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2 After breakfast clients will transfer by road to Lujeri Tea Estate in Mulanje in the far south of the country (6h). A packed lunch will be provided.
Accommodation at Lujeri Lodge on a full board basis.
This historical tea estate is situated on the foothills of Mulanje Mountain with wonderful views of the area.
Accommodation is at Lujeri Lodge which has four ensuite bedrooms, spacious living area and lovely gardens and swimming pool. Activities available include walking on the estate, swimming in fresh water pools, birding and day hiking trips up Mount Mulanje. The hiking trips can be arranged at extra cost through the lodge.

Day 3 Full day of exploring Lujeri Estate

Day 4 After breakfast guests will transfer by road from Lujeri to Zomba (3h). Accommodation at Ku Chawe Inn, situated on the rim of Zomba Plateau, in a deluxe room on a half board basis. Guests will spend the afternoon exploring Zomba – walking on the mountain, birding, horseriding.
All activities can be arranged through the hotel.

Day 5 Road transfer from Zomba to Liwonde National Park to Mvuu Camp (2h) plus short city tour of Zomba on journey to Liwonde (1 hour)
Accommodation at Mvuu Camp is in ensuite tented chalets, situated on the banks of the Shire River, on a full board and activity basis.

Day 6 Full day of gameviewing activities – gamedrives, nature walks and boating safaris.

Day 7 After breakfast clients will transfer by road to Senga Bay on the central lakeshore (4h). Packed lunch provided.
Accommodation is at Livingstonia Beach Hotel in an ensuite room on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. The hotel is set in beautiful spacious gardens and has its own private beach on the shores of Lake Malawi.

Day 8 After breakfast guests will transfer by road to Luwawa Forest Lodge (5h) located in the Vipya Mountains in central Malawi. Packed lunch provided.
Accommodation at the lodge is in simple ensuite chalets, set in landscaped gardens over looking a large dam. Accommodation will be booked on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. The lodge offers many activities including walking, canoeing, birding, mountain biking and visiting local villages and schools.

Day 9 Today guests will continue their journey to Makuzi Beach Lodge on the northern shores of Lake Malawi (4h)
The lodge is situated in a secluded tropical bay which is home to an abundance of birdlife. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
Accommodation is in simple ensuite chalets overlooking the lake on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
Activities available at extra cost include snorkelling, fishing, kayaking, boat trips, visits to local communities, horse riding and scuba diving (Off site).

Day 10-11 Full days to relax and enjoy Makuzi Beach

Day 12 Early morning road transfer from Makuzi Beach to Lilongwe (4h) to connect to international flight.
