After your flight from Arusha to Serengeti National park, enjoy game driving in one of the most famous game reserves in Africa. Full days spent game driving in the Serengeti.

Day 4 NGORONGORO CRATER
Drive to Ngorongoro Conservations Area, afternoon game-drive in the crater. Photographers will appreciate the contrast of the cloudy skies and the brilliant golden sunlight illuminating the vegetation on the crater floor, and the white soda lake where pink flamingos search for food.

Day 5 NGORONGORO CRATER / NASERA ROCK
After breakfast we descend into the crater for a morning game drive. Here we camp in a private concession in Masai country.

Day 6 LERAI
The Gol Mountains form the escarpment of the western wall of the Rift Valley and this is the starting point of our trek. We depart with traditional Masai guides on foot, crossing the wide open plains bordering the Serengeti.

Day 7 SANJAN CANYON
Accompanied by our Masai guides, with lunch and water for the day’s journey, we set off to cross this small chain of mountains.

Day 8 LAKE NATRON
We follow an important foot trail used by the Masai from Lake Natron during the dry season when they herd their cattle up onto the highlands for grazing. We have a spectacular view over Natron and the surrounding volcanoes and escarpment.

Day 9 RIFT VALLEY
After last early morning views & walk along the edge of the pink and white expanse of Lake Natron soda pans, we climb back into our vehicles and follow the floor of the Rift valley towards Lake Manyara. Overnight at Enuoto Lodge.

Day 10 LAKE MANYARA – ARUSHA / JRO AIRPORT
We head towards Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. Heading back to Arusha we pass through the village of Mto wa Mbu, an eclectic market town where several tribes converge to form a linguistic mix that is the richest in Africa.
