Panoramic views of the Luangwa River and South Luangwa National park as well as a variety of birds and game are seen from the main lodge. The lodge boasts a refreshing swimming pool and the only natural hot spring tub in the Valley. The uniqueness of the design in combination with the superiority of the wildlife makes Kafunta River Lodge a great place for an overall classic safari experience.
Kafunta River Lodge’s sister property is Island Bush camp, a smaller and more intimate camp located just two hours drive from Kafunta River lodge. The camp is situated under a grove of mahogany tress on the banks of the South Luangwa River on only habitable island in the Luangwa River.
