Kafunta River Lodge’s main lounge is creatively built around a large mango tree and is thatched in traditional style. Kafunta River Lodge’s sister property is Island Bush camp, a smaller and more intimate camp located just two hours drive from Kafunta River lodge. The camp is situated under a grove of mahogany tress on the banks of the South Luangwa River on only habitable island in the Luangwa River. The chalets are simple yet have all the amenities guests need for a comfortable safari.
