LOCATION: Meno a Kwena is situated on the edge of Boteti River, which forms the western boundary of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park.

During the dry / winter months Meno a Kwena features an amazing spectacle… when hundreds, THOUSANDS of zebra, elephants and a host of wildlife drink from what can only be described as one of the most productive drinking spots in full view of the camp!
Not to be outdone, we can potentially show guests, with a great deal of certainty, white rhino.
The area is home to southern Africa's largest wildebeest and zebra migration, all species of African predators including brown hyaena, meerkats, - perhaps the most diverse natural wildlife habitats in southern Africa, all within reach of Meno a Kwena tented camp!
The salt pans are a fascinating source of archaeological and historic relics in and around what was once the bed of a vast inland lake. We offer optional salt pans experience safaris that include a quad bike trip into the middle of the salt pan to sleep out in a camp set up in advance under a canopy of stars.
CATEGORY OF SAFARI EXPERIENCE: Land camp with an unparalleled and unique position to do extensive and varied Kalahari safaris including the Makgadikgadi and Nxai Pans National Parks, and Central Kalahari Game Reserve. All dependent on the guests’ length of stay!
ACCOMMODATION: Eight fully-serviced meru walk-in tents with semi- attached bathrooms including a bucket shower and flush toilet. Enjoy the view from your tent while hearing the sounds of the wild beckoning you to return once again to Africa.
