The Central Kalahari is our home and has been for five generations. We love to share our passion and first-hand knowledge of the Kalahari with our guests.
Our neighbours are cattle ranchers, so we capture ‘problem’ predators that would otherwise be shot, and keep them in semi-captivity at Grasslands in 11-hectare fenced enclosures, where we feed them and prepare them for release into the protected area of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve.
We assist in ground-breaking research to mitigate human/animal conflicts and so relieve pressure on vulnerable species of large African predators.
ACCESS: Via private airstrip, 50 minutes from Maun or by 4x4 vehicle.
CATEGORY OF SAFARI EXPERIENCE: Intensive Kalahari experience, encompassing San clan activities (hunting, gathering, games and ritual), game drives both off road and at night, our predator conservation project, and horse-riding.
ACCOMMODATION: 16 guests in 8 en-suite chalets.
