Fly SA Airlink from Johannesburg to Beira (SA Airlink fly 6 times a week to Beira. Every day except Saturdays.
Day 1: Road transfer to Explore Gorongosa. A 2-hour road transfer to the Gorongosa National Park gate with a gentle 1 hour game drive from the gate to Explore Gorongosa’s operating area.
Day 2 – Day 5
4 nights at Explore Gorongosa. Pay for 3 only!

Day 5
Road transfer to Hotel Tivoli (or similar) in Beira
A 3 hour road transfer (as above) direct to the Hotel Tivoli or Beira hotel of their choice.
Day 5 – Day 6
1 night at a hotel in Beira
Depending on what day travel occurs from Beira – Nampula, it may be necessary to overnight in Beira for connecting flight.
Day 6
Transfer to Beira airport (Included in Tivoli’s overnight rate). Then, fly LAM from Beira to Nampula.
LAM fly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday to Nampula
Road transfer from Nampula to Nuarro. A 4 hour road from Nampula to Nuarro. It is also possible to do an air transfer from Nampula – Nuarro. $250 one way.
Day 6 – Day 10
4 nights at Nuarro. Pay for 3 only!
Nuarro is a new truly authentic eco lodge situated in a private bay adjacent to the beautiful Baixo do Pinda with unbelievable diving and tropical pristine beaches
Day 10
Road transfer from Nuarro to Nampula
A 4 hour road transfer from Nuarro to Nampula, the first 1,5 hour is through authentic Macua villages, exploring real Mozambique
Fly LAM from Nampula onwards to Lichinga
LAM fly on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Nampula to Lichinga. Depending on which flight you use, it may be necessary to spend a night in the Hotel Girassol in Nampula. It is also possible to charter directly from Nuarro to Nampula.
Road & boat transfer from Lichinga to Nkwichi Lodge
A 4 hour road from Lichinga to Cobue (the nearest village to Nkwichi Lodge) and then just under an hour’s boat transfer to Nkwichi
Day 10 – Day 15
5 nights at Nkwichi Lodge. Pay for 4 only!
Nkwichi Lodge on Lake Niassa is an experience in itself with its squeaky beaches, crystal clear waters and relaxed atmosphere.
