Living with Lions (Coming Soon!): EcoTraining will be launching this exciting new 3 day to one week programs offering close encounters with lions on telemetry. Telemetry is used in wildlife study and management to study wildlife and to monitor threatened species at the individual level. Animals under study are fitted with instrumentation ranging from simple tags to cameras, GPS packages and transceivers to provide position and other basic information to scientists and stewards.

The program enables us to track and find the lion pride during the day and night, following their movements through the night; watching lion kills and understanding the taxonomy; behaviour and pride socialisation.

Walking Trails: Exciting safe game viewing walks with expert guides, ensuring an unforgettable up-close- and-personal experience of the bush. These walking safaris are led by our qualified rangers. While on foot and in the camps resting, the following topics of interest will be covered informally; bush navigation and orientation, ecology, geology & soils, plant communities, plant identification and uses, grasses, animal tracks and tracking, bird identification and behaviour and animal behaviour.
