Coral Lodge 15.41 comprises 10 villas each designed for optimal privacy and relaxation. The living space includes informal sitting areas, a bedroom, a bathroom and a big terrace. Furthermore, all the villas have ocean view. To fully compliment the exterior design of our villas, Edward van Vliet used a blend of African and modern styles for the furniture that decorates the interior of the villas. The bedrooms have been furnished with the award-winning Evening Breeze bed. These beautifully-designed canopy beds allow for full air-conditioned climate control and provide guests with a superb sleeping experience. And if that wasn’t enough, natural materials were used to manufacture the hardness-adjustable mattresses and cushions. To keep it natural, the windows and shutters have been designed with maximum adjustability in mind so that a gentle breeze can always flow through the rooms.
Coral Lodge 15.41 is built on a privately- owned reserve called Varanda. Varanda is a peninsula with a big Laguna. Through the Laguna the tides offer life to the mangrove forest behind the sand dunes, the breeding ground for many sea creatures. The area is visited by east African birds and is habited by bush babies (small nocturnal primates), monkeys, snakes and mongoose. Explore Varanda by canoe or on foot.
Ilha de Mozambique: This former capital of Mozambique, built by the Portuguese, still looks like it did three hundred years ago. From the Lodge guests look out on the San Sebastião Fort (1558 AD) at the north point of the island. This fort and many other colonial buildings are remnants of bygone era, but they still preserve that history.
Coral Lodge 15.41 offers many water activities such as: scuba diving, whale watching, snorkeling, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, fishing and deep sea fishing.
